Love these toiler articles! I don't see any bidets in these pictures and I thought they were the norm in Europe. Having become a bidet convert several years ago, I find the idea of using a bidet-free toilet quite upsetting.

We spend so much functional time in the bathroom - they are important! One of my favorite designs in japan is a tank toilet with a built-in sink and faucet on top of the tank. When you use the sink, presumable after using the toilet 😆, the grey water would flow into and be stored in the tank for the next use/flush.

Geberit Rimfree WC - very interesting. I looked at their site and I really do like their modern/contemporary suites of products (vanity, sinks, et al). Unfortunately, searches don't fork over any showrooms nearby to go visit or cost?

Lloyd, what do those units cost? All that seems to come up are the mechanicals they offer (valves, piping, infrastructure...

This brought back memories...I stayed in a small hotel in Marseille in 1966, when I was 15. The tiny WC was in the hall and shared by everyone on the same floor. One gentleman smoked a very pungent cigar while doing his business and I made the mistake of following him in while wearing a dress made of a wool-blend. I was never able to get rid of the smell of that cigar!

Thanks Lloyd - I too love looking at bathrooms!

I'd have kept the toilet in - too much hassle getting from bedroom to toilet or out of bath!

Nice to see the toilet not directly off the kitchen too!
